About me
I’m Vassili, a Data Science master’s student at ETH Zürich with a minor in Robotics, after a bachelor’s in Mathematical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.
Following a research period on the mathematical foundation of learning, I’m now interested in how agents learn in the real world, with a particular focus on perception and control. I’m working with the Computer Vision and Geometry Lab on how an agent can learn to allocate resolution in a 3D map based on a specific task and memory budget, and with the Learning & Adaptive Systems Group on algorithmic improvements to modern reinforcement learning methods.
Feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to share thoughts!
